Granola

Here’s a great, simple and tasty Granola recipe that’s good on it’s own, or as a breakfast cereal, or as shown above, part of a Mixed Berry Yogurt Parfait.

Ingredients:

4 cups Old Fashioned Oats
1 cup Raw Nuts/Seeds of your choice (can be a combination of several)
1 cup Shredded Unsweetened Coconut
1/2 cup Chopped Dried Fruit
1/4 cup Melted Virgin Coconut Oil
1/4 cup Local Raw Honey or Organic Maple Syrup, or a combination of the two.
1 Tbs. Cinnamon
1/8 tsp. Real Salt

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in large bowl, then spread on an non-greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes, or until golden, stirring every 10 minutes. Let cool, then store in air tight container in pantry for up to 1 week.
