Once you make my homemade Pizza Sauce, you’ll never go back to store bought again! It’s simple to make, and simply delicious. It rivals that of any Pizza/Italian Restaurant. Also, this recipe makes enough sauce for 4 to 5 pizzas, and freezes great. It’s versatile since it’s vegan, and tastes great with either regular, or gluten free/grain free crusts.
Again, as I said: “It’s simple to make.” Start by lightly sauteing the garlic in the Olive Oil over medium-low heat. Just until fragrant (about :20 seconds), then add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for :20 minutes. That’s it!
Once it’s finished simmering, you’re ready to start building your pizza. Remember, this recipe makes enough for 4 to 5 pizzas, so you’ll have a lot left over.
1 Tbs. Olive Oil
4 cloves Garlic (peeled and minced, or pressed)
1 24-28 oz. jar (or can) Crushed Tomatoes
2 Tbs. Tomato Paste
1/2 Tbs. Sugar
1 tsp. dried Oregano
1 tsp. dried Basil
1 tsp. dried Parsley flakes
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Paprika
1/4 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
1/4 tsp. fresh cracked Pepper
Have all ingredients ready before starting. Saute garlic in olive oil, just until fragrant, about 20 seconds. Then add crushed tomatoes, and the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a slight boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Now you’re ready to make your Pizza, or Pizzas!
