Lemon Pepper Wings

Just in time for your Super Bowl menu! You have to try these wings! If you love wings (and who doesn’t, right?), then you’ll love this Lemon Pepper Wings recipe. These are the best wings I’ve ever had, and definitely the best I’ve ever made. What makes these wings standout from other recipes is that the wings are marinated, then oven roasted at high heat until crispy. I’ll be incorporating this wings recipe, among others, in my Super Bowl party menu.

2-3 lbs. Chicken Wings (I like to use drumettes) img_9641
1/2 c. Lemon Juice (fresh squeezed, or bottled)
1/4 c. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 Tbs. Ground Pepper
2 tsp. Salt
1-2 cloves Garlic, minced

2 Tbs. Lemon-Pepper Seasoning Blend

Mix lemon juice, olive oil, pepper, salt, and garlic in a large bowl. Add chicken wings and mix thoroughly until coated. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and marinate for 2 – 2½  hours at room temperature; stirring occasionally to keep coated.

Preheat oven to 425º F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with foil, top with a wire rack, remove wings from marinade, drain slightly and place on rack, taking care not to crowd the wings. Coat wings with Lemon-Pepper Seasoning. Roast wings for 45-55 minutes until crispy and internal temperature reaches 165º F., turning wings half way through. After roasting, let wings rest 5-10 minutes, then remove from wire rack and enjoy!
